THE MOST POPULAR ISLAND OF THAILAND

 Koh Phi Phi is by far Thailand's most popular and tourist island.  After learning that Leonardo Di Caprio's The Beach film was filmed here in Maya Bay (Maya Bay), the fate of the island (now it is discussed whether it is good or bad) has changed.

 Now people flock to the island.  Especially in high season, it gets so crowded that the island's capacity cannot handle this demand.  In our opinion, the best part of this place is that it is a place with very special experiences such as Plankton Tour, but this is not what people usually expect.  Everyone is flocking here to see Maya Bay and for the nightlife that is renowned among college students.


 We had a lot of fun here and found unforgettable experiences right in the head of We Are Not at Home.  However, we cannot say that we love Koh Phi Phi a lot.  We think it's over built and touristy, but thousands of people visit and love every year.  That's why we say visit it yourself and make your decision.

Waitomo Glowworm (Firefly) Caves (Waitomo, New Zealand)

Waitomo Glowworm Cave is a brilliant place underground.  This place is located in New Zealand.  English Glowworm means firefly.  As its name suggests, it is home to small creatures that glow like fireflies, making it a special place.  When we were young, we were wearing phosphor star-shaped stickers on the walls of the rooms and watching them glow in the dark at night.  This cave will take you to your childhood.  Waitomo Glowworm Cave has a magnificent beauty!  Small larvae named Glowworm have adopted this cave as their home.  These larvae that live in the black cave shine around to find food.  In fact, these little hosts here are called Arachnocampa Larvae.  These larvae rest on the small stalactites hanging from the ceiling.  The reason for the irradiation of the larvae called Arachnocampa is the result of chemical reactions and the production of luciferin enzyme.  Glowworms, known as the most interesting insects living in th...
