Göbeklitepe


Göbeklitepe located in Sanliurfa, Turkey is among the most historic place.  It was also built as a temple belonging to the neolithic period.  Even 7500 years older than the Egyptian pyramids, this place is seen as evidence of the advancing steps of settled life.  This place, discovered in 1964, was unearthed by archaeologists through regular studies.  The ruins found are the belief center of this place.  Göbeklitepe, which dates back to 9000 BC, is among the places to visit in Şanlıurfa.

Waitomo Glowworm (Firefly) Caves (Waitomo, New Zealand)
