Agios Ioannis Church


In 1944, damaged by the earthquake that occurred in Agios Ioannis Church, it is among the places to visit in Turkey.  The church, which is under protection by the Rahmi Koç Cultural Foundation, is a 1st Degree archaeological excavation site made of cut stone and brick.  Decorations and frescoes are the details that make the church visually perfect.  Now it is used as a library, not as a church.  Inside you will be able to see a book about the apocalyptic sign and an old bell.  Balıkesir historical places are the continuation of our article ..

Waitomo Glowworm (Firefly) Caves (Waitomo, New Zealand)
