Lord Howe Island



Lord Howe's archipelago is the Australian symbol that is surprising in all respects.  Its largest island of the same name covers an area of ​​14.5 square kilometers.  This island runs itself.  A little over 340 people live there constantly.  Lord Howe Island Group has occupied an important place worldwide due to its unique nature.  There, you may encounter many endemic plants that are not found anywhere else in the world.

  An important part of Lord Howe Island is covered with rain forests.  There are more than 200 plant species.  Almost half - about 70 species - are endemic.  The magnificent island was discovered in 1788 by British researchers.  At that time, the rocky island was discovered along with Ball's Pyramid.  You also want to visit unusual natural attractions.  The island resembles a sail.  The height of the cliff is 562 meters.  The rocky island seems absolutely lifeless at first sight.  There were rare insect species.
